BSA/376 - Systems Analysis and Design
Course Description
This course introduces the fundamental, logical, and design considerations addressed during system and application software development with a focus on application within health care. It provides a solid background in information systems analysis and design techniques through a combination of theory and application. The Systems Development Life Cycle will be fundamental to the course.
This undergraduate course is 5 weeks.

- Explain the roles of personnel in the systems development life cycle.
Week 2
- Explain systems analysis.
- Explain project scope and feasibility.
- Identify the project requirements.
Week 3
- Analyze design specifications for health care projects.
Week 4
- Describe systems development.
- Describe systems implementation.
Week 5
- Identify types of systems maintenance.
- Identify future trends in systems development.
