NTC/324 - Windows Server Configuration
Course Description
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install and configure Windows Server. The course covers server installation and configuration, server virtualization configuration, and maintaining and monitoring server environments.
This undergraduate course is 5 weeks.

Course Objectives
Week 1
- Determine requirements to install, upgrade, and migrate servers and workloads.
- Determine requirements to install and configure Nano Server.
- Create, manage, and maintain images for deployment.
Week 2
- Examine processes to configure disks and volumes.
- Implement server storage and data deduplication.
Week 3
- Install and configure Hyper-V®.
- Configure Virtual Machine (VM) settings.
- Configure Hyper-V® storage and networking.
Week 4
- Implement high availability and disaster recovery options in Hyper-V®.
- Implement failover clustering.
- Implement storage spaces direct.
- Manage failover clustering.
- Manage VM movement in clustered nodes.
- Implement Network Load Balancing (NLB).
Week 5
- Deploy and manage Windows® containers.
- Maintain and monitor server installations.
