Course Description

This course provides network training on Computer Network Defense fundamentals; security threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks; controls, protocols and devices; and security policy design and implementation.

This undergraduate course is 5 weeks.

Course Objectives

    • Recall the role of the Intrusion Detection and Prevention System in defending networks.

    • Recall the fundamental goals, benefits, challenges, and available countermeasures for network defense.
